16th - 18th of October 2020 - expression of Interest
At time of writing we have approx 50 expressions of interest for riding the 3 Day Tour in the glorious Hawkes Bay - 16th to 18th Oct 2020 (week after the start of the school Term 4 and the weekend before Labour Day).

Weekend Overview
The weekend will be structured to accommodate riders of all skill and fitness levels - hence, as well as courses that allow speedsters to have a decent hit out we're proposing alternative rides & courses that are more focused on camaraderie and chances to chat with your buddies, perhaps touring through some of the historic and scenic highlights rather than gut busting repeats up Te Mata Peak :-)
We are now dusting off the arrangements we'd made for the CV19 impacted ANZAC Tour and are finalising the motels in Havelock North together with the dinner spots. The Bay appreciated us coming back BTW.
To recap what is proposed for for 3 day Tour de Bays;
Based in Havelock North for the weekend - likely spread over two tried and trusted motels.
A ride would start 1pm Friday 16th of October for those that can get there, then a Saturday ride and a Sunday morning ride - finishing early Sunday afternoon so people could head back to Wellington - for work on Monday :-(
The event will be tailored to accommodate the wide range of riders we host as well as family & friends - an enjoyable inclusive weekend is what we're after.
Included in the cost will be; accommodation for Friday and Saturday night, evening meals Friday and Saturday (usual high standard - alcohol not included), accompanying support vehicles and a fun time . .
We are working to ensure the cost is kept down and will have the final costs once numbers are locked in - as a guide we anticipate the cost to be somewhere around $350 pp for a twin share, options for single and triple.
