This weekend saw about 30 OTB riders compete in the Martinborough Charity Fun Ride.  The conditions were challenging - with a warm 42km NW wind to contend with and drama to match. Just a few kilometres shy of the finish line, as a group of us begun to see the finish line, the next group up ahead all of a sudden had a collision, with tires up in the air and lycra in all directions. As those of us behind took evasive action to avoid the carnage we saw Kath Tate all bundled up in the mess. After we'd zoomed passed the whole debacle, relieved we'd narrowly missed it, suddenly we see her whizzing past completely unscathed! Miraculously Kath managed to catch up and finish with her group.
