The 1st ride out of Martinborough had a small but enthusiastic group enjoy a chatty and friendly alternative to the dismal Wellington weather. The day was cool to begin but turned into a brilliant sunny day with very
moderate northerly and temperatures.saw
Next ride Sunday August 25th has the extended option of 137Km out to Castlepoint and looping back back to Masterton sorter ride options provided by starting / finishing up the road,
Social relax a chat point option for a mid-ride stop at Tinui Hotel (Castle point pub)
Ride briefing 9:00am @ Dixon St - opposite Entice Cafe (Queen Elizabeth Park northern end of Masterton)
The format will follow the usual OTB Sunday rides. Following the ride briefing riders will break up into groups of around 12 and head off. Each group will make their own arrangements for Cafe stops along the way and at the finish - with suggestions provided of course.
