After a break of 4 years the Martinborough Team Team Trial took place on Saturday 19th September with a field of 50 riders comprising 10 teams.  Conditions were not favourable with a freezing start and most riders were rained on at some stage. The handicapping was such that most teams encountered each other in the last 10km of the circuit.  The winners on handicap were team CHOSEN #2 with Mike Faherty, Marty McDonnell, Gavin Cho, Jono Halliwell and Pia Raudkivi followed shortly thereafter by three teams crossing the line at the same time to share second place.  The fastest team on elapsed time was the  "THE LOST BOYS" comprising Neil Holden, Greg Williams, Rick Williams, Bill Van Woerkom, Mike Sutton and Steve Harley.  Follow these links for full results and photos of the day.  Many thanks to Mike & Jude Philips (Race marshals and time keepers), Frannie Aston (photographer/first aid/sag wagon) and Allan Moss soigneur.
