Saturday/Sunday 19/20th September 2015
Arrangements for the day are firming up as below:
Teams
The format is as follows,
- Captain to submit a team name and members' names
- 5-6 riders per team .
- We would prefer if you organised your own team (however you can turn up as an individual and The Huntmaster will place you in a team)
- Race starts at 2pm at the Margrain Vineyard Cafe - look for the OTB flag
- Team start times are handicapped based on ability (calculated from the average Taupo or GrapeRide pace)
- The course map: 50km loop - East on Huangarua Rd left on Hinakura Rd, left north on Masterton-Martinbourgh Road left into Millers Rd- left into Ponatahi Rd south to finish at the gates at Margrain Villas
- There will be some awards and prizes at the post match function in the evening, so any tall stories from the day gratefully received.
- Teams are expected to stay together and to share the load
- Team time is taken on the second to last rider in the team to cross the line i.e. you can only drop one person, exceptions may be considered for genuine mechanicals
- Individuals ride at their own risk and will be asked to sign-on to the pre-race safety briefing sheet before the start.
