‘Comes a time . . . . . we become Onslow Cycling 
 

A belated (oh how the world has moved in 6 months) update on the outcome of our December 2019 survey and vote around our name – over 25 years OTB has grown and developed as a community and as a group of friends - from the original few (now old timers) who went for much needed refreshments after riding the local Khandallah – Tawa loop to a much expanded set of riders who enter/compete in all manner of MTB, Road, Fun Ride, Gravel, CycloX and epic Bike Touring events.  Thanks to the originals, they set the scene and bestowed a set of values that I for one truly appreciate - the brand and name has served us well over the 25 years with the colours/strip being instantly recognisable – everywhere. 

With time comes change and as a result of the questionnaire asking what you, the OTB riders thought should happen; keep the name, change the name (please provide name suggestions) - result 87% voted change.  We then ran a survey - “which of the top 3 suggested names you supported”. 

Result;   Onslow Road Babies 27%  Onslow KauKau Cycling 30%  and Onslow Cycling  43%

What’s next - Now  (after a lengthy delay) we are rapidly sorting the Logo and Jerseys, based on the output from the brand survey you hopefully participated in – expect to see a request to VOTE on which jersey and brand you want shortly.  Please Participate, don’t complain after the fact
