Get better results in November with this mid-week training boost.

“OTB’s Intense Spin” is a weekly cycling session that builds power, strength and speed skills. This weekly session nails your winter foundation training.

It is bike specific training, using your own bike on your stationary trainer in a group session that will build your power in the saddle. Each week the class participates in a fictional race, focussing on skills areas such as climbing, sprinting, time-trial or race efforts.

The latest training videos from SufferFest put you in the middle of pro peloton classics and grand tours, cycling over European cols and cobbles.

Programme:

Class leaders will select workouts weekly. On Tuesday 6th May there is a benchmarking workout called "Rubber glove". This is a self measured test of HR or FTP zones, to enable you to track training improvements. Rubber Glove will be repeated every six weeks.

Get into it. Bring your bike, spin machine, two towels and a water bottle. OTB's Intense Spin classes run from Tuesday 29th April until the Taupo Cycle Challenge at the end of November.
