Whilst the riders in the Tour suffered on the slopes of the Madeleine, Croix-de-Fer and L'Alpe d'Huez, with Romain Bardet displaying the passion and determination to try, fail and repeatedly try again.  39 OTB riders and partners got together for a colourful and fun evening - talking, laughing and generally enjoying the friendship that is created around cycling.

As always the OTB charity - the Wellington Free Ambulance - is a few hundred dollars better off thanks to the generous contributions from Karl @ Ride Holidays and some kind individuals (who contributed the prizes for the raffles)

Rhonda and Marty each won genuine TdF Jerseys from Ride Holidays - which Karl is hand delivering once he gets back from his time over there in the sun, and the ever young Dave L won a decent sized voucher for  treatment in a beauty spa (obvious comment here) and a nice sized bottle of bubbly.

The TdF trivia quiz was a breeze with some outstanding guesswork seeing Jess and Liz's team take out 1st place (score of 11 out of 20 btw) . . .. .

All in all a great night out.
